Hyundai

Hyundai Motor Company, established in 1967, began its automotive journey assembling Ford Cortinas under license. The pivotal moment arrived in 1975 with the development of its first independent model, the Pony, styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro. This marked the start of Hyundai's ambition to become a global automotive manufacturer. In the early years, Hyundai focused on affordability and reliability, gaining traction in export markets like Canada and the United States throughout the 1980s.

The late 1990s and early 2000s saw Hyundai invest heavily in research and development, leading to improvements in quality, design, and technology. This period witnessed the introduction of models like the Sonata and Elantra, which became increasingly competitive in their respective segments. Hyundai continued its expansion by launching luxury brand, Genesis, competing in the premium vehicle space. Today, Hyundai is recognized for its diverse lineup, incorporating both internal combustion engines, hybrid, and electric powertrain options, and a commitment to innovative technology and customer satisfaction.
